Import an Anki deck

Choose a deck you exported from Anki and keep studying it here, with every card where it was in Anki’s schedule. The file is opened in this browser and isn’t sent anywhere.

The file is read in this browser and never sent to us. The words and each card’s schedule come across; pictures and sound stay out until you sign up, since they would fill this browser’s storage.

No cards yet.

Common questions

How do I get a .apkg file from Anki?

In Anki on a computer, choose File and then Export, pick the deck, leave the format as Anki Deck Package (.apkg), and save it. A shared deck from AnkiWeb downloads as a .apkg already.

Is my file uploaded?

No. It is opened in this browser and the cards are kept here. Nothing is sent to us unless you sign up and choose to add the cards to your account.

Does it keep my progress?

Yes. Each card keeps where it was in Anki’s schedule, so cards you know well stay far apart and ones you are learning come back soon.

Why are my pictures missing?

Pictures and sound stay out here because they would fill this browser’s storage. Signed in, the Anki import on New flashcards brings them too.
