Always the right question — so you learn more in less time.

AI-generated exam questions marked like the real thing, brought back on a spaced-repetition schedule that keeps you exactly at your learning edge — never wasting time on what you’ve already mastered, never stuck on what’s still too hard — with real tutors on hand too, through our own tutoring agency.

Our mission

Learn as much as possible, in as little time as possible

cookie exists to keep every question exactly as hard as it needs to be — never too easy, never too hard — because that’s where real learning actually happens. We call it the ramp: stay right at your personal edge, question after question, and you learn faster with less wasted time. And it’s not just marketing copy — it’s a genuine description of how cookie’s spaced-repetition engine adapts to you.

AI augments the people who guide your learning — it doesn’t replace them. cookie exists to strengthen tutors and teachers, not sideline them.

Where the ramp idea comes from

The idea of learning at a personalised difficulty edge — Andrej Karpathy’s framing of “the ramp” — was a genuine inspiration for cookie. He’s now building on that same idea directly with Eureka Labs, his own project for AI-native education.

Also a tutoring agency

Also looking for a tutor — or want to tutor with us?

cookie also runs a tutoring agency. We only take on exceptional tutors — including graduates from top universities like Oxford and Cambridge — and every tutor and student gets free access to cookie’s software and can use it in their lessons.

How it works

Step 1
Paste your source material

A past-paper question and mark scheme, your notes, a syllabus excerpt, or just a free-text prompt — cookie works with a little or a lot.

Step 2
Practise with AI-generated questions

The AI writes full, multi-part, exam-style questions in the style of your source — not flashcards. Answer with LaTeX, a photo, or the built-in whiteboard.

Step 3
Get marked instantly, with a worked solution

Partial credit, an exam-style score, and a full model answer every time — plus a universal 0–5 grade that feeds straight into your review schedule.

Step 4
Reviews come back exactly when you need them

That universal grade drives spaced repetition — the same proven memory technique behind tools like Anki. Instead of one fixed list, cookie brings each topic back right before you'd naturally start forgetting it, and leaves it alone once you've clearly got it.

Who it’s for

Exam students

GCSE, A-Level, IB, SAT, AP, university entrance exams like the UCAT and LNAT — or any other exam, qualification, or entrance test, anywhere in the world. Revision time is scarce and generic flashcards don't mirror real exam questions or marking. cookie generates full exam-style questions from your own past papers and marks them with partial credit, so you know exactly what's actually weak.

Independent learners

Not working toward a specific exam? cookie still works. Paste your own notes, a textbook chapter, or just describe what you're trying to learn — a new skill, a professional qualification, or anything else — and get real practice questions with real marking, on a schedule that adapts to you.

A real worked example

Differentiate f(x)=3x25x+2f(x) = 3x^2 - 5x + 2 and hence evaluate f(2)f'(2).
Your answer
dydx=6x5\dfrac{dy}{dx} = 6x - 5, so f(2)=6(2)5=7f'(2) = 6(2) - 5 = 7.

Full marks — correct differentiation and evaluation, clearly shown.
