GCSE practice questions, written and marked by AI
cookie writes GCSE practice questions from source material you choose, marks what you write against a mark scheme it produces alongside the question, and uses spaced repetition to bring each topic back just before you would forget it. You can start from an official deck for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC or CCEA, or paste your own class notes and get questions from those instead.

A GCSE paper asks multi-part questions worth several marks, with command words that decide what an answer has to do, and a flashcard cannot rehearse any of that. cookie generates the whole question, gives it a mark scheme, and then marks your written answer against that scheme with partial credit, so a method mark you earned still counts when the final answer is wrong.
Because the question is generated rather than retrieved, you do not run out. A topic you lose marks on comes back sooner, and when it is due you can ask for a fresh question on exactly that topic, which is the part of revision that is hardest to do for yourself.
Start from an exam board, or from your own notes
The official decks below were built from real past papers, mark schemes and specifications published by the boards themselves. Import one and you get a private copy to practise from and change.
Your own material works just as well, and often better, because it is the material your teacher actually set. A deck can be a pasted set of notes, a photograph of a worksheet, or one line describing what you want to practise.
Common questions
Is this the same as doing past papers?
It is close, and it is meant to be. The questions are generated in the style of the source material rather than copied from it, so you get new questions in the same format and at the same difficulty instead of working through a fixed set you can only do once.
Which exam boards does it cover?
Any board, because the questions come from the source material you supply. There are official decks for AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC and CCEA already, and you can add your own board by uploading its specification and a past paper you are allowed to use.
Do I need to pay?
No. There is a free plan with a daily and monthly allowance for generating and marking questions, and a Pro plan if you practise more than that. The pricing page has the current figures.
