Past papers, timed and marked in one place
In cookie you open a board’s past paper beside its mark scheme, do it against the clock and see your grade from that year’s boundaries.
A sample three-question chemistry paper, already answered, with a timer running. Press Mark with AI to mark each answer with a comment: the total comes to 6 out of 9, grade 6 on the sample boundaries, the score joins a trend of earlier attempts and each mark goes into the score for its topic.

Past papers FAQ
Where do the past papers come from?
From the exam boards’ own websites. cookie lists them and links to the board’s copy, and when you do one in cookie you open the file you downloaded, which stays on your device.
Can a past paper be marked with AI?
Yes, with an account. Mark with AI checks your answers against the mark scheme beside your own marks, question by question or the whole paper, and it uses credits, shown first.
What does help on or off mean?
You choose before you start. With help off the assistant is off for that paper too, and the grade counts towards your trends; a paper done with help is kept, but its grade does not count.
Can I see the grade boundaries?
Yes. Each paper’s grade uses that year’s boundaries, and every board’s boundaries are in our own tables on the grade boundaries pages.
What if I did the paper on paper?
Bring in photos or a scan of it, and it counts in My papers like any other paper, marked by you or with AI.
