How does marking from a photo work?
Take a photo of the question with your handwritten answer, and of the mark scheme’s part for it if you have one. The AI reads your handwriting and marks it against the mark scheme the way an examiner would, point by point: the marks you got, the ones you missed and why.
Can it mark a paper without a mark scheme?
Yes. When the board has not published the mark scheme yet, or you don’t have it, the AI marks from what an examiner would usually expect for that question and says so, so treat that mark as a guide.
What happens to my photos?
They go to our AI to mark the answer and are not kept. Please keep your name and your school out of the photo.
How many can I mark?
A few a day on each network, shared with the other things cookie does before you sign up. With an account, cookie marks whole papers from photos or a scan, keeps your marks in My papers and shows which topics to work on.
