Pourquoi les seuils de notes changent-ils chaque année ?
Les seuils sont fixés après la correction de chaque examen, afin qu'une note corresponde au même niveau, même si le sujet d'une année est plus difficile que celui d'une autre. Un sujet plus difficile a généralement des seuils plus bas. C'est pourquoi il vaut mieux noter un ancien sujet en utilisant les seuils de sa propre année, comme le permettent les tableaux ici.
Quand les nouveaux seuils de notes de History A (Explaining the Modern World) sont-ils publiés ?
OCR publie les seuils de notes le jour des résultats : pour les examens d'été, c'est à la mi-août pour les A-level, puis une semaine plus tard pour les GCSE.
