Flashcards for Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics (0580), split into the syllabus's own nine content areas and then its numbered sub-topics, in order. Extended-only cards say so. A last subdeck covers when to use each formula given in the list of formulas in the exam. Follows the syllabus for examination in 2025, 2026 and 2027 (version 3, May 2024).

Adding it gives you your own copy, with every subdeck below. Each card then comes back just before you would forget it, and every one you get right or wrong counts towards your mastery of its topic. You can delete or suspend the parts you are not studying once it is yours.

Some of its cards

  • What is true of two chords of a circle that are the same length?
They are the same distance from the centre
  • In a right-angled triangle, the square of the hypotenuse equals the sum of the squares of the other two sides: a2+b2=c2a^2 + b^2 = c^2
    Pythagoras' theorem
  • Mean
The sum of all the values divided by how many there are
  • Index (or power)
The small raised number showing how many times a base is multiplied by itself, such as the 3 in 232^3
  • Density
    Mass divided by volume
  • What is a tally table used for?
Recording how many times each value or category occurs, using tally marks
  • What is the formula for the area of a rectangle?
    Length times width
  • How do you write a ratio in its simplest form?
Divide every part by the highest common factor of all the parts
  • What is the angle in a semicircle?
    90°
  • How do you calculate an unknown length in a shape similar to another?
Find the scale factor between a pair of matching known lengths, then multiply or divide the corresponding length by it

And 669 more once you add the deck.
