Common questions

What percentage get a 9 in GCSE French?

9% of GCSE French results in England were 9 in 2026, according to Ofqual. The table on this page gives every year we hold.

Where do these figures come from?

From Ofqual, the exams regulator for England, which publishes results by subject and grade. Figures are based on JCQ data before 2020 and on Ofqual data from 2020 onwards. They cover England only.
