How many students pass A level Law?

In 2026, 64.7% of results in England were grade C or above. The figures cover all candidates, including those resitting.

Why were results higher in 2020 and 2021?

There were no exams in those years. Grades were set by schools (centre assessment grades in 2020, teacher assessed grades in 2021), and more students got the top grades. Grading returned towards the pre-2020 standard in 2022 and 2023.
